TIME LAPSE SERVICES

From Construction Sites to Cultural Heritage Capturing Change, Beautifully.

Yamashiro Doboku’s Time-Lapse Solution

Time-lapse is a filming and editing technique that condenses long-duration changes into short video clips.
By capturing still images at fixed intervals and playing them in rapid sequence, construction processes and natural transformations that take hours or days are compressed into just seconds or minutes of footage.

In recent years, there has been a growing need to utilize fixed-point video footage over the long term in various fields, such as monitoring the formation and disappearance of sandbars in rivers, sediment accumulation in erosion control dams, embankment deterioration, illegal dumping, and progress management of bridges and public works projects. In particular, “time-lapse filming” using specialized cameras is attracting attention from the perspective of detecting signs of natural disasters and improving the efficiency of maintenance management.

Any Needs or Issues we can help with?

1. I want to keep this as a record.

We want to store documents related to construction, demolition, and
other site activities.

2. There is insufficient video recording.

We don’t have enough video footage for safety training and construction analysis.

3. I want to create powerful visuals.

We’re considering creating a striking commemorative video for the building completion, but we don’t have enough time or the necessary safety measures to do it ourselves.

4. There is a lack of compelling visuals.

We are looking for engaging visual content for recruitment, PR, and corporate branding.

5. The presentation materials are insufficient.

We want to show our clients our scale and facilities in a clear and easy-to-understand way.

Instant Understanding by One Polished Video

AFTER | Time-Lapse Documentation

Time-lapse makes it easy to show progress, process management, and site scale, instead of relying on thousands of photos and documents.

We flexibly accommodate any duration from 1 day to over 1 year. Note that projects under 1 month are still billed for a full month.

Pricing varies based on the number of cameras. For installation work, we provide a detailed quote after an on-site survey, which takes about one week.

3. How are filming issues handled?

We have automated error-detection alerts in place. Any anomalies are reported to you immediately. Support beyond physical camera setup is handled online.

4. Can you film in rain or at night?

We accommodate all weather conditions. For nighttime filming, color capture is not available, so we use monochrome recording instead.

5. Do you accept international projects?

Generally yes. However, we evaluate each project based on scale, communication infrastructure, power stability, and safety considerations.

6. Can you accommodate editing requests?

For time-lapse footage, we can handle basic requests such as trimming. Advanced editing beyond basic trimming is not included in the standard service.
